Originally from Colombia, Mauricio moved to California in 1990 to earn a degree in computer networking. This knowledge, together with his economics major from UNELLEZ, has provided him with the necessary skills to educate his clients, negotiate on their behalf, and effectively market his listings.

Mauricio began his real estate career in 1996 as an agent associated with First Team Real Estate and was in the hall of fame by 1998. In 2001 Mauricio earned his Broker license and opened Better Choice Real Estate, Inc. his independent real estate company.

Currently, he is the Office Manager of First Team in Cerritos.

Mauricio is continually among those at the pinnacle of production in real estate sales and has been honored with numerous awards for his hard work and dedication.
